Complaint Resolution

Any person who has a concern or complaint about the conduct or practice of a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner may ask the YRNA to investigate their concern/complaint by providing a complaint in writing to the CEO.

To make a complaint:

  1. Download and fill out the Complaint Form which can be found here; and

  2. Send it to the attention of the CEO at YRNA. The mailing address is in the footer of each page of this site. The email address is ceo@yrna.ca

The YRNA complaint resolution process is described in the Board approved Professional Conduct Review Program policy document. A graphical representation of that process is included below for information purposes. Please consult the official document for detailed information.

Please also note that YRNA can only address complaints about Nurse Practitioners or Registered Nurses. Licensed Practical Nurses, Psychiatric Nurses and Midwives are regulated directly by the Yukon Government through their Professional Licensing arm. Their email contact is: lpn-rpn.plra@gov.yk.ca
